Today was a hot day (>25 deg) so agreed to take it easy . Yesterday was first day of trip I felt just a little tired (!) and slept like a log

Beautiful countryside continued

Today’s ride was in 2 parts . Part 1 about 65 km with rendezvous at NT Berrington Hall with support team (who are fantastic!)

2 nd part was last 55 km or so to campsite in Much Wenlock . Why do campsites always have a significant uphill to them ????

Have taken in a fair amount of fluid and calories today

A bit of a celebration after first week where we have been truly blessed with perfect weather, very few hiccups and everyone still healthy and happy . 588 km cycled (and driven by support team – although they usually took a more direct route ….. not sure Bessie would have made it up some of the hills!), 7900 m approx climbs on bike and a fair amount of food and fluid taken on board
